My super awesome spiritual daughter wrote this poem tonight. She has been working on her faith in God for girls program. One of her assignments was to write a poem, story or short play that teaches a principle of the gospel or is about Heavenly Fathers creation. I wanted to share what she wrote.
Heavenly Father Loves Me
Heavenly Father is our father. We are His daughters and He loves us. He thinks of us as doves...beautiful doves. Not because of what we look like on the outside but what we look like on the inside. That is what truly matters! We need to be steadfast and hold on to virtue. If we truly try out hardest we will make it home. We, as princesses of God, are very important to Heavenly Father. We must remember that when no one else is there for us, He IS! Even if you have done wrong He will always love you! He will always care. He will always be there to take your hand and say you can do it. That is something to be really grateful for...and I am.
I love my Heavenly Father right back! That is something very special and I will never forget!
